Press conference: Purchase of the Van Eetvelde Office

Embargo: 4/9/2022 11:30

A few days before the Heritage Days, thanks to a joint action by Beliris and the Brussels-Capital Region, the public authorities have become the owner of number 2 Palmerston Avenue in 1000 Brussels.

This tenement house and extension of the Hôtel van Eetvelde was built in 1899 by Victor Horta in the Art Nouveau style. Here you will discover the beautifully preserved office of Edmond van Eetvelde.

In order to present the Region's Art Nouveau strategy and the terms and conditions of this acquisition by Beliris, Karine Lalieux, Federal Minister in charge of Beliris, Rudi Vervoort, Minister-President of the Brussels-Capital Region and Pascal Smet, Secretary of State in charge of Heritage, invite you to a press conference

Monday 05/09/2022 10:30, 2 Palmerston avenue, 1000 Brussels.

A visit to the Van Eetvelde office and the (adjoining) Hotel Van Eetveelde will be organised after the press conference.
