Invitation: Site visit to the iconic Brunfaut Tower in the context of Archiweek Wednesday 28/9 - 9:30 am

The theme of this year’s architecture week is “Brussels is Mine”. It invites us to reflect on the extraction and (re)use of raw materials and materials. The Brunfaut Tower, currently being completely renovated, is an ideal location to explain this theme.

The organisers and curators of the Brussels architecture week “Archiweek” invite you to the presentation of the Archiweek theme and programme on Wednesday 28/9 at 9.30 am at the Brunfaut Tower in Molenbeek.

Archiweek has been taking place since 2019 and in a short period it has already become a highly anticipated week in the agenda of many architecture and Brussels enthusiasts. This Brussels architecture week will take place from 15 to 23 October 2022.
During Archiweek, the general public will have the opportunity to discover many interesting buildings in Brussels (not accessible in other times), various workshops, conferences and exhibitions will take place, and many Brussels architectural firms will open their doors.

Brussels State Secretary for Urbanism Pascal Smet, mayor of Molenbeek-Saint-Jean Catherine Moureaux, general director of Urban Bety Waknine and the Archiweek curators will present and explain the programme and theme of Archiweek and this interesting examplary project.
